Provenance: Personal property of Geoffrey Dickinson, thence by family descent. Geoffrey Dickinson (1933-1988) began his contributions to Punch in 1963, and produced several covers. In 1965, he was offered the position of Deputy Art Editor. Dickinson left Punch in 1984 and joined the Financial Times. Dickinsons work is held in the collections of the British Cartoon Archive, and the University of Kent, Canterbury.
